Adding Intro Video to your Practitioner Profile

Adding an intro video is a great way to help clients connect with you beyond words. It allows you to share your story, approach, and energy in a personal and authentic way, helping potential clients feel more confident booking a session with you.

This feature is available exclusively for Empowered Plan users and appears right at the top of your public Heallist profile. You can update your plan by visiting your Billing page

Why Add an Intro Video

Your intro video gives visitors a glimpse into who you are and how you work. You can:

  • Introduce yourself and your background.

  • Explain your healing philosophy or modalities.

  • Describe what clients can expect in a session, in general.

  • Invite them to connect or book with you.

Videos can help build trust and highlight your unique presence—something that written bios can’t always convey.

How to Add Your Intro Video

  1. Go to your Profile page
Log in to your Heallist account and open your profile.

  2. Click on “Edit Profile Header”
You’ll find this option at the top section of your Profile page, just under your photo.

  3. Upload your video
Under the “Intro Video” section, you can upload or drag and drop your video file.

    • Supported formats: MP4, MOV, MP3

    • Maximum file size: 10GB

  4. Click “Save”
Once added, your video will upload within a few moments. When complete, it will appear on your public profile for clients to view.

How the Intro Video Appears

Once uploaded, your intro video will automatically appear as a pop-up when someone visits your profile for the first time.

  • Visitors can choose to watch it or close the pop-up.

  • They can also select “Don’t show again”, so the video won’t appear on their future visits.

This ensures that your introduction is visible and engaging for new visitors, while returning clients can browse your page without interruption.

Tip

Keep your video short and engaging—1–2 minutes is ideal. Make sure your face and voice are clear, and record in a quiet, well-lit space for best results.
