At this time, Heallist does not support direct Venmo connections for practitioner payouts. However, Venmo is automatically available as a payment option for clients when you connect your PayPal account to Heallist.
How it works:
-
When a client books a session, they may see Venmo as a payment option if they have it enabled on their device.
-
Even though the client uses Venmo to pay, the funds are sent to your connected PayPal account, not to a separate Venmo account.
-
This is because Venmo is owned by PayPal and is not designed for direct business transactions outside of PayPal’s business ecosystem.
Important note:
-
You will not be able to link a Venmo account to receive payments directly.
-
All payments processed through Venmo during a booking will go to your PayPal balance as part of PayPal’s system. To ensure your Paypal account is connected, you can go to your Heallist account's Billing page to set it up.
To enable Venmo for your clients, simply connect your PayPal account to Heallist. Once PayPal is set up, Venmo becomes automatically available to clients who use it as a payment method.
