Connecting Your Google Calendar

Accessing the Bookings Page:
- Log in to your Heallist account as a Healer.
- Navigate to the "Bookings" page.

Initiating Connection:
- Look for the Google Calendar logo and click the "Connect" button next to it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the integration.

Google Account Required:
- Ensure you have a Google account to enable this feature.

Adherence to Google API Services User Data Policy:
- Heallist adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Your information is handled with the utmost care.
Synchronization for 1:1 Services
Setting Availability:
- When configuring availability for 1:1 services, Heallist cross-verifies the available slots in both the Heallist and Google calendars.
- Only slots available in both calendars will be displayed on the Booking calendar of the Service page.
Booking Confirmation:
- Upon client booking and your confirmation, Heallist automatically creates events in your Google Calendar.
Appointment Updates:
- Booked appointments are created in Google Calendar.
- Cancelled appointments are promptly deleted.
- Rescheduled appointments are updated in both date and time.
Synchronization for Group Classes and Workshops
Group Classes:
- Events for group classes are automatically created in your Google Calendar when services are added and dates selected.
- Recurring group classes generate events for each recurrence.
Workshop Events:
- Workshops trigger calendar events upon creation.
- If a healer changes the workshop date, the calendar is automatically updated.
Dynamic Calendar Management:
- Removing a date for a recurring class deletes the corresponding event in Google Calendar.
- Your Google Calendar is synchronized automatically the moment a potential client selects a date on the calendar, located on the service booking page. This assures the most accuracy for your availability.
- In rare cases when your calendar and appointment request are updated at the same time, you always have the option to decline the session request. For best experience, message the client and propose to select an alternative date/time.
Disconnecting Your Google Calendar
- At any time, you can disconnect your Google Calendar by accessing the "Disconnect" button and following the disconnection instructions.
- Existing appointments remain in the calendar, but new appointments won't be synced.
