      Integrating your Zoom account with Heallist: A Comprehensive Guide

      Detailed instructions on adding, using and removing the Zoom app from your Heallist account.

      We understand the importance of seamless virtual sessions, and that's why we've integrated Zoom directly into your Heallist user account. This guide will walk you through the process of adding, using, and removing the Zoom app within Heallist, ensuring a smooth experience for both you and your clients.

      Adding the Zoom App to Your Heallist Account

      Step 1: Log in to Your Heallist Account

      1. Open your web browser and navigate to Heallist's website.
      2. Log in to your practitioner account using your credentials.

      Step 2: Accessing Zoom Integration

      1. Once logged in, navigate to your Telehealing page.
      2. Look for the "Connect Zoom" button to initiate the integration process.

      Step 3: Authorize Heallist to Access Your Zoom Account

      1. You will be redirected to a Zoom login page.
      2. Enter your Zoom credentials to authorize Heallist's access.
      3. Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the connection.

      NOTE: you will need a Zoom Pro account in order to host sessions longer than 40 minutes.

      Hosting Virtual Sessions with Heallist and Zoom

      Now that you've successfully connected Zoom with Heallist, you will be able to select it for your Virtual Services.  Follow these steps to complete the integration.

      Step 1: Create a Service in Heallist

      1. Go to your Heallist profile page.
      2. Navigate to the "Services" section.
      3. Create a new Service as you normally would, filling in all necessary details.

      Step 2: Link Zoom to Your Service

      1. While creating or editing the service, look for the "Virtual" option in Locations 
      2. Once Virtual option is chosen, you will be asked to select a virtual platform to host the service on.
      3. Choose "Zoom" from the available options. (you can also connect your Zoom directly from this screen)
      4. Save or update your service.

      IMPORTANT NOTE: If you wish to switch any of your existing services to Zoom, you will need to edit them and change the Virtual Platform to Zoom instead of Heallist. Repeat the process for each Service.

      Step 3: Joining the Session

      1. At the scheduled time, log in to your Heallist account.
      2. Navigate to the "Bookings" section.
      3. Find the booking and click on "Join Session" OR directly on the Zoom link on the screen.

      Step 4: Seamless Zoom Experience

      1. Heallist will automatically launch the Zoom app, and you'll be connected to your virtual session.
      2. Enjoy the seamless integration of Heallist and Zoom for a holistic virtual experience.

       

      Removing Zoom Integration

      Should you ever need to remove the Zoom integration, follow these steps:

      1. Log in to your Heallist account.
      2. Navigate to the "Bookings" section.
      3. Locate the Zoom Disconnect button and click on "Disconnect".
      4. Confirm the removal when prompted.
