Setting up your payments processing with PayPal.

This guide will help you connect your PayPal account to your Heallist practitioner profile. By linking your PayPal account, you can conveniently receive payments from your clients directly through the platform.

Heallist is an official partner of PayPal, integrated via their secure API exclusively for partners. This ensures a seamless and secure experience for both service providers and clients.

1. Set Up Your PayPal Account Through Heallist

  • Access Billing Page: Log in to your Heallist account and navigate to the Billing page.

  • Initiate PayPal Setup: Click the "Set Up" button next to the PayPal option. This will guide you through the process of either creating a new PayPal Business account or connecting an existing one. There is no need to visit PayPal’s website separately for this step.

2. Creating or Connecting a PayPal Business Account

  • New Account: If you don’t have a PayPal account, follow the prompts to create a new PayPal Business account. You will need to provide some basic business information during this setup process.

  • Existing Personal Account: If you have a personal PayPal account, you will be asked to upgrade to a business account during the setup process.   • Existing Business Account: If you already have a PayPal Business account, simply log in with your existing PayPal credentials when prompted. Heallist will automatically link your account.

3. Payouts and Payment Details

  • Receiving Payments: Any payouts from clients booked through Heallist will appear on your Billing page within 24 hours after the service appointment.

  • Detailed Account Information: For more detailed information on your transactions and account activity, you can visit your PayPal account at any time.

4. Accepting Payments via PayPal, Venmo, and Cards

  • Client Payments: Clients will be able to pay for services using PayPal, Venmo, or credit/debit cards, providing flexibility and convenience for your customers.

5. Disconnecting PayPal

  • Remove PayPal Account: You can disconnect your PayPal account at any time by going to the Billing page and clicking the "Disconnect" button next to PayPal.

6. International Availability
