Should I create my Heallist account under my personal name or business name?

You can choose to create your Heallist practitioner account under either your personal name or your business name— whichever best represents how you work with clients.

Here’s what to consider before deciding:

Using your personal name

  • Recommended if you work as an individual practitioner or your clients know you personally.

  • Helps clients find you easily when searching by name.

  • Builds personal trust and visibility, especially if your reputation or practice is tied to you as a healer or teacher.

  • Your personal name will appear on your public profile, service pages, and booking confirmations.

Using your business name

  • Ideal if you operate under a brand, clinic, or studio with multiple practitioners.

  • Gives a professional, branded presence and consistency across platforms.

  • Keep in mind: even if you use a business name, your account is still tied to you as the individual owner for verification and payout purposes.

  • Clients may still see your full name in email confirmations or receipts (depending on payment processor setup).

About your Heallist URL

The name you choose will also be used to automatically generate your Heallist profile URL (for example: heallist.com/firstname-lastname).

You can change your URL later under Settings → Change URL, but note that redirects are created automatically and frequent changes are not recommended as they can affect your SEO and search visibility.

Quick tip

If you’re unsure, a simple guideline is:

Use your personal name if you are the brand.
Use your business name if you represent a team, clinic, or collective.
