How do I make sure I won’t get double booked?

what to do for booking conflicts and double booking issues

Heallist is designed to help you confidently manage your schedule and avoid double bookings. By keeping your availability updated, using calendar integration, and leveraging built-in tools like rescheduling and buffer times, you can create a smooth, reliable booking experience.

Accept or Decline Bookings

Every time a client books with you, you'll receive an email notification prompting you to accept or decline the session. This gives you time to check your personal calendar before confirming.

Use this step to double-check that the new session won't overlap with other commitments or personal appointments.

Sync Your Google Calendar with Heallist

Avoid manual checks by connecting your Google Calendar to Heallist. Once synced, your availability on Heallist will automatically block off times that conflict with existing events on your Google Calendar.

Use the Reschedule Feature if a Conflict Arises

If a conflict occurs after a session has been accepted, you can easily reschedule the appointment from your Bookings page.

Here’s how:

  • Go to your Bookings tab.

  • Locate the session you want to adjust.

  • Select Reschedule, choose a new date/time, and send the updated details to your client.

Set Availability and Add Buffer Time

  • Use your Availability Settings to select the exact days and times you’re available for bookings.

  • Add Buffer Time between sessions to avoid back-to-back scheduling and allow for rest or prep.

By combining manual confirmations, calendar sync, flexible rescheduling, and buffer settings, you can confidently protect your time and avoid double-booking mishaps.
